Undergraduate Admissions
The BlueCrest undergraduate programs consist of two admissions intakes per annum.
1. Fall Semester (August – December)

Entry Requirements
Candidate should have mandatorily passed five WASSCE subjects including English and Mathematics.
Candidate needs to bring in his/her academic Transcripts, Two Letter of Recommendations, copy of Birth certificate, high-school diploma, WASSCE Scratch card to cross verify the result along with 2 passport size photographs.
Eligibility Criteria
Category A: High School Certificate holders
Each student who applies with BlueCrest University College Liberia shall be considered for admission based on his/her meeting the following conditions:
- Submit evidence of high school completion (Diploma).
- Submit West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) transcript or results .
- WAEC (WASSCE Exams): Passes in any 5 Subjects including (Mathematics, English Language)
- Submit evidence of 2.00 high school cumulative GPA.
- Submit evidence of completion of required units.
- Submit non-refundable application fee.
- Register and successfully pass BlueCrest Entrance Examination (BET).
Freshman college students applying to BlueCrest University College Liberia must present evidence of having graduated from an accredited high school with a “C” (2.00) or better CGPA and thirteen (13) units of high school work which are as under:
- English 4 units
- Maths 3 units (2 years of Algebra and 1 year of Geometry)
- Social Science 3 units
- lectives 3 units
Category B: Mature Applicants
- Must be at least 25 years by 1st February or 1st September of the academic year one wants to enroll.
- Register and successfully pass BlueCrest Entrance Examination and interview.
Category D (Year 3) : Associate Degree Holders
- Applicants holding Associate Degree qualification in Information Technology
- Computer Science can be permitted for advance standing / lateral entry admission into Year 3 of the Program.
- Not required to undergo for any entrance examination
- Must submit their transcripts for evaluation for admittance into 3rd year of bachelor degree.
Must undergo one or more additional courses as bridge courses subsequent to mapping of the curriculum, if required.
Category E (Year 3) : Transfer of Students
- Any student from other recognized institutions willing to get transfer to BlueCrest University College need to through apply the formal channel
- A student transferring a program from a recognized University/ College to BlueCrest University College shall accumulate a maximum of 60 credits over a period of four semesters as a full time student of the BlueCrest before he/she shall become eligible for graduation. Student might be required to undergo one or more additional courses as bridge courses subsequent to mapping of the curriculum.
- Category A, B or C are still applicable
- Applicants must score a minimum GPA of 2.5 or better
- All transcripts from previous school must be submitted along with certificates.

Admission to the MS Information Technology program requires the completion of all general admission requirements and procedures set forth by the Admissions Office. Graduate Admission application, including attachments of the following documents is a must:
- A professional resume
- A statement of purpose
- Official transcripts from each college and/or university attended
- Applicants are responsible for submitting official transcripts to Graduate Admissions for their undergraduate degree and graduate coursework, if applicable.
- An overall grade-point-average (GPA) of at least 2.0 (Applicants with a GPA less than 2.0 will be considered for provisional admission with their professional experience factored into the decision
- Completion of the Entrance Exam/ Graduate Record Exam (GRE) for all applicants. BSc IT holders from BlueCrest University College will be exempted from Entrance Exam.
- 3 Passport size Photographs
- Note: This requirement applies to all candidate for Master of Science in Information Technology.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following admission Criteria:
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in information technology, information systems, or closely-related field, from a regionally accredited college or university.
- Minimum of 2.50 cumulative GPA (scale is 4.00=A) in the last 60 semester hours or 90 quarter hours of a student’s first bachelor’s degree program
- Minimum of 2.50 cumulative GPA (scale is 4.00=A) in graduate work, if applicable
- Applicants with grades below the minimum level may be considered for provisional admission if there is strong evidence suggesting the potential of outstanding performance in the Polytechnic School graduate program.

Certificate/Diploma Admissions
Entry Requirements
Candidate should have cleared senior higher secondary school. They should be able to understand English. The Certificate or Diploma programs are meant to develop skills that are designed to offer hands-on training and practical skills that can be applied to a variety of jobs in the field of Information Technology or Fashion and Design.
Candidate needs to bring in his/her academic Transcripts along with 2 passport size photographs.
Note: This requirement applies to all Certificate OR Diploma as well as Professional Diploma Programs.
Eligibility Criteria
Category A: For Diploma Programs or Certificate Programs
- Students are required to have a minimum qualification of Senior Higher Secondary school.
- The application process involves submitting a completed application form, academic transcripts, and any other relevant documents.
- Applicants may also be required to take an entrance examination.

- Students are expected to have prior experience in technology or Fashion based on their chosen program.
