
Lovetta Conto
Department of Fashion and DesignLovetta Conto received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Parsons School of Design | The New School in the year 2020. She has extensive training in Textile Design Fashion Retailing, and Fashion Concept Development. She began her career in fashion design as an intern at Seventeen Magazine in New York City, and founded a line of jewelry that was sold globally and worn by celebrities including Angelina Jolie. Ms. Conto’s work has been featured in Teen Vogue, Marie Claire, Oprah Magazine, CNN, and BBC, among other international media. She was a member of the inaugural class of Parsons Paris. She attended The African Leadership Academy in Johannesburg, South Africa where she studied entrepreneurship. She has been a featured speaker at The Aspen Ideas Institute and other global events. She has been awarded the Freedom to Create Prize, Global Nomads Young Heroes Award, David Chow Humanitarian Award, and was an International Children's Peace Prize Finalist given by The Nobel Peace Prize Laureates' Committee. Her work has been exhibited in Paris, New York, London, Harare, Kabul, Cairo, and Mumbai.
